Pop-up section

In this article, we will tell you what a pop-up is, and also show you how to add it to your landing page.

A pop-up is a pop-up window that appears on a website after completing a target action on a landing page. The window can contain a data collection form, a text block, a gallery, and any other sections that exist in the MaviBot constructor:

The target action for pop-up in the Salebot website builder is to click on the button containing the section value.

Pop-up setting

To create a popup section, click on the "+" to open the menu with sections:

Then find the Pop-up section in the menu that opens:

And click on the pop-up to add the section to your website:

You can add any number of sections to the pop-up by making, for example, an information window on the landing page.

To add a pop-up section, click on the "Fill in the pop-up" button:

Let's add several sections of the site inside the pop-up:

Inside the pop-up, you can make a second mini landing page, since there can be an unlimited number of sections in the window.

The sections inside the pop-up are configured in the same way as the sections from which you will design your website.

The Pop-up will open on your website when you click on the button. In this case, you can use both the "Menu" section and the "Buttons" section as a button opening:

How to add a pop-up to the "Menu" section

To add a pop-up to the Menu block, copy the value of the pop-up window section:

Then go to the settings of the "Menu" section:

Step 3. Select the action for the "In the current window" button:

Step 4. Add the pop-up ID value to the link field:

To see how the pop-up opens in the website menu, go to the website page:

Next, click on your created button in the menu:

As you can see, the pop-up opens only when you click on the button, and you can specify the target action for the client: for example, make an appointment, read more, etc.

How to add a pop-up to the Buttons section

To add a pop-up to the Menu block, copy the value of the pop-up window section:

Then go to the settings of the "Buttons" section:

Step 4. Enter the value from the pop-up section in the button link:

A pop-up window will help to unload your site, make it more mobile and flexible, as well as add additional information without violating the basic logic and design of the site.
