Email campaigns
Mailing lists are available only on the "Business" and "Infobiz" pricing plans.
Mailing lists are not available on the free plan, as well as during the three-day trial period, which is activated when the project is created.
Attention!
The maximum number of scheduled messages per client is 32 messages.
Invalid email addresses - are addresses that are misspelled in the domain (@mail.ru ) or the prefix (name@). Invalid addresses are also called non-existent addresses, duplicates, temporary and disposable mailboxes, and spam traps.
Valid email addresses - are existing and correctly written addresses that have not been detected in suspicious activity. That is, those who can receive mailings.
Mailings can be sent manually, the so-called manual mailings, ссылка ручные рассылки, and whole schemes have been built, so to speak, "smart" mailings, such as autoworks, - ссылка автоворонки, when different scenarios are taken into account.
Auto-mailing is a chain of messages, whole scenarios that lead the customer step by step from the moment they get acquainted with the product to the final goal of buying it, without human intervention and without taking into account variability.
Mailing lists can be either one-time, mass or group.
In this section, we'll talk about Email mailings.
Attention! For email mailings from a file, addresses are checked for their existence (validity). If the percentage of invalid addresses is more than 5%, the mailing list is canceled. This is to avoid being blocked and getting spam.
If the recipient's email server blocks Russian IP addresses, the emails will be sent and counted within the outgoing message limit. But the recipient won't see them. Unfortunately, we cannot affect this situation.
During downloading clients from a file, the offset and sending functionality is NOT AVAILABLE!
Connecting email bot
To create email mailings, firstly you need to connect the Email bot in the Channels - “Email" section.
Next, you need to enter the email address from which the sending will be performed, and the sender's name, which will be shown to the recipient.

After that, a new Email bot will appear in the list of connected channels, but it will not be authorized.
Attention: You can't use free domains!
The free email services gmail/yandex/mail.ru and others have their own DMARC policy, according to which they block mailings and services that carry out such mailings.
A mailbox on your own or corporate domains is suitable for mailing lists.
Use domains with a Latin name! For example: cakeschool@мойдомен.рф
Attention: If you have your own domain, but you don't have a mailbox on it, you can create one on our service in the Domains section. ссылка “Домены”. If the mailbox is created on our platform, a confirmation code will not be required.

To log in, we need to confirm that the email is yours. An email with a confirmation code will be sent to the specified email address.

Creating an email mailings
To create an email mailing, go to the appropriate section and click “Create mailing".

Email distribution, as well as mailing in messengers, takes place in 3 stages: selecting recipients, forming messages, sending settings.
You can specify the recipients of the mailing list using a filter based on existing email bot subscriptions or upload users with a file.
You can upload your user base as a file. You can download the file template by clicking on the question mark as shown in the screenshot below:

You can ONLY specify recipients' email addresses in the file. Other parameters (name, phone number, and other variables) They will NOT be included in customer dialogues.
During uploading a file to the mailing list, specify the UTF-8 encoding and the semicolon separator.
Clients can also be uploaded using the format file.CVS in the "Channels" section:


Using the "Subscriber Filter" setting, you can filter out existing email bot users:
by lists (you can either add or exclude a list)
as of Mavibot CRM,
according to the state of the clients (the block where the client is located),
by connected messengers (from the Channels section),
by variables,
by registration date
During forming email messages, you can create any design and see in what form the letter will reach the user in the field “Mailing list preview.”
Attention! The "Text of the letter" field is required.

Please note the special feature of Gmail mailing
Carefully check the letter title in the appropriate field! If there is any typo in the letter title, then with the further implementation of this mailing, the letter title will be cached and WILL NOT CHANGE, even if you change the project.
The only way out of this situation is to add an additional symbol.

In this case, the subject of the letter will remain the same, even if you put a space between the words as follows:

The email will come with the subject, as in the first version, although you added a space.
To get out of the situation, correct the typo and add an additional character:

This is not observed in other email services. Only in Gmail.
Also, in the "Messages" section, you can add buttons with links to the channels you need (connected to the project), or create your own button with an embedded link.

Attention! If you do not enable the "Save mailing to correspondence history" slider during sending emails, the opening statistics will not be counted.
In the third “Sending” tab, you are asked to fill in: - sender's name (if it is empty, the name specified in the Email bot will be displayed) - sending time - the interval between the mailing messages - settings for splitting the mailing list into parts

The "Unsubscribe from mailing list" button in the email appears automatically at the bottom of the email text during creating a mailing list in the Mailings section.

Client rating in mailings
In Mavibot, each email client has its own rating. It can be found in the client's card:

When a client is automatically added, the rating is 7. If you manually added a client to the system, the client is assigned a rating of 10.
If the rating drops to 1, the client is blocked.
If the average customer rating in the mailing is below 6, the mailing will not be launched.

This is done so that your emails do not end up in spam, and the delivery rate is maximum and the reputation of the service is high.
How is the rating formed?
If a notification is sent to Mavibot email server stating that the mailing address is suspicious for one reason or another, the client's rating is automatically lowered to one and blocked.
If Mavibot email server receives a notification that the client's mailbox is full, then for each undelivered email, the client's rating will decrease to 1.
If you receive an email from a low-rated email address, the client's rating is automatically increased to 10 (this means that the mail is "alive");
If the client's rating is higher than one, the email will still be sent.
Notification of reading: message_read
A message reading feature is available for email bot clients. You can set notifications for read messages.
To do this, turn on the icon with two checkmarks in the message block.

Attention: The callback about the review works in email!
Attention: The callback will be received only if the client is in this block, if he has left it, then there will be no callback.

The mailing should be created in the funnel constructor from the dialog status blocks.
There is no status from the Mailing section or from the blocks - read statistics WILL NOT BE COUNTED. Because the client is not in these blocks.
Linking a Domain and creating mailboxes
Please note!
If the domain is not registered in Mavibat, but on a third-party service, dkim and SPF records (both at once!) are required for correct operation. сссылка dkim, SPF. You can get them in the email bot settings.

Without these records, google and Yandex mail will BLOCK outgoing emails!
Setting dkim-, spf-records is performed in the project settings in the "Channels" section.
Find the email channel and go to settings:

In the modal window that opens, you will see fields to fill in for -dkim and -spf records:

If you have your own domain, you can connect it to your account. To do this, go to the “Domains" section.

After that, the domain will appear in the list. To start working with it, you need to confirm that the domain is yours. To log in, log in to your DNS dashboard and follow the instructions. (example below - reg.ru )
Attention: DNS record settings do not take effect immediately. Sometimes you need to be patient.

Go to the domain settings panel.
Select the desired domain and click “Configure” - the dns control panel will appear.
For authorization, we create a new resource record.

Next, you need to configure the domain so that it allows you to send mail through Mavibot.

Attention! If, during creating an mx-record, the panel automatically adds your domain to “mail.mavibot.pro ”as shown in the picture below, it is necessary to correct the value and put a point at the end of the entry: “mail.mavibot.pro .”


SPF record
If your domain is not registered with Mavibot, you need to create a DKIM, SPF record (both at once)! Otherwise, google and Yandex mail will block letters!

How to use SMTP from Mavibot
You don't NEED to connect SMTP to send emails! SMTP can be connected:
If you are familiar with the concepts of port and domain;
you know what SMTP is and how to use it?;
you plan to connect mail to other services (for example, outlook, Thunderbird, and others);
you plan to send mailings from your website.
If you plan to use mail ONLY on Mavibot, you probably DON'T NEED SMTP.
How to connect SMTP
To enable SMTP, you need to register your domain in your Mavibot account and create a mailbox (see how to do this here). ссылка здесь).

Next, select the desired mailbox and click on “Connect SMTP".
After making an SMTP connection request and until it is approved, emails from the mail specified in the request WILL NOT BE SENT!
If the request is rejected, you CAN'T send emails from the specified email address. For a new request, you will need to create a new mail for the domain and reconnect the bot in the Channels section.
You will see a questionnaire to fill out. You need to select the project that your connection will be associated with. The message limit will be deducted from it during sending emails via SMTP. Next, there will be questions about the purpose and scope of the mailbox.
Attention! We ask you to answer as honestly and fully as possible. It depends on your answers whether the moderators will approve the possibility of activation.

After filling out the form, the mailbox will have the status “SMTP connection request is under moderation”. This means that the application has been submitted to the administrators and the response will be sent to your account's email address within 24 hours.

Attention: Port 25 is not supported. You only need to use the specified ports - connection ports with traffic encryption 465 and 587.
Attention: The mailbox password can be changed.
Attention: You can log in with a username and password, for example, to outlook or thunderbird and manage correspondence outside of Mavibot.
