File storage
A file storage system is a convenient and secure solution for organizing, storing, and sharing data, enabling efficient information management and ensuring accessibility within a project created in MaviBot.

✓ One of its main advantages is the ability to centrally manage all files within a single project. This is convenient because you no longer have to waste time searching for the right documents or other files across third-party services, where your business-related materials are often mixed with unrelated images, audio, or video files.
Everything is right at your fingertips, making access to the necessary information quick and easy.
✓ Another significant advantage is that the file storage system can serve as an alternative to popular cloud services. It allows you to easily manage documents—whether they’re text files, images, or other types of data—while ensuring they remain accessible without tying access to a specific user.
✓ MaviBot quickly adapts to changes: if your clients are unable to watch video lessons from your online courses on popular video hosting platforms, you can simply use the file storage system. Upload the videos directly to MaviBot and launch your lessons right from within your project.
Thus, the file storage system is not just a place to keep your data, but a full-fledged tool for organizing and managing it. It unlocks numerous opportunities for optimizing your file-related workflows, making the process more convenient, efficient, and secure.
How to work with file storage

The main functionality of the storage system includes:
Uploading files for use within the project
To upload a file to the project, you need to click the button with the same name located on the right side of the screen.

Next, in the window that opens, select the file you need, and it will be uploaded to the project.
Data storage
The main function of the storage system is to provide secure and reliable saving of files in various formats (documents, images, videos, etc.) within the project.
Therefore, after uploading, the file will be stored in the corresponding tab:

File search and filtering
Built-in search and filtering tools make it easy to find files by type.

Additionally, each file can be tracked by its size and upload date:

To filter files by size, click on the "Size" column header.
Storage capacity management
Users can monitor and manage the amount of storage space used, keeping track of how much data has been uploaded.

If you find that storage space is insufficient, you can purchase additional capacity according to the pricing plan.
The cost of additional GBs of file storage can be found in the "Pricing" section.
Viewing uploaded files from project sections
If you need to view files that have been uploaded in client (student) conversations, use the corresponding "From chats" tab:

Files from chatbot blocks within the funnel builder can be found in the corresponding "Builder Files" tab:

Other files uploaded in different sections of the project (including those from the file storage) can be found in the "Operator Files" tab:

File indicators
In the row with the uploaded file, you can see indicators in green, yellow, orange, and red.

The indicators represent the file size. A red indicator can also mean that the file is either too large (exceeding the size limit) or that the file has some kind of error.
How to disable saving files to storage from client conversations
To prevent files from client conversations from being saved to the file storage, go to the project settings:

Next, in the project settings, go to the "Messaging" tab:

In the "Messaging" tab, you'll find the checkbox that allows you to disable saving files from conversations.

Uncheck the checkbox to disable it, and files from client conversations will no longer be saved to the file storage.

Storage clearing
The storage can be cleared by using the bulk file deletion feature or by selecting only specific files that are no longer needed.
Bulk file deletion
MAVIBOT WARNING!
Note! Be careful with bulk file deletion: files deleted from the project’s storage cannot be recovered! If you delete all files from the storage, they will be removed from ALL sections of the project, including bots, websites, courses, and more.
If you delete ALL files from the storage, attachments will no longer be sent by the bot or displayed on lesson pages, websites, and elsewhere.
To perform bulk file deletion, click the corresponding button.

Then, a panel will appear at the bottom of the screen for selecting the time period:

Click on the time period for which you want to delete files in the project.
A window with options will open.

In the opened modal window, you can choose which files you want to delete from the storage:
All files;
Only files from dialogs;
Files from the builder;
Files that were uploaded in other sections of Salebot (not in the builder or dialogs).
You can also specify the period—from and/or to—which the files should be deleted.
Single file deletion
You can delete files individually, for example, by using the button on the right side of the screen.

If you need to delete multiple files, check the boxes next to the files you want to remove.

Then, a deletion panel will appear where you need to find and click the "Delete files" button.
Only the files you have checked will be deleted from the project.
Where files from the storage can be used within the project
Files uploaded to the storage can be used in various sections of MaviBot.
Client chat
In client chats, you can attach files uploaded to the storage. To do this, find the "Attach file" button.

Click the "Attach file" button and select the desired file from the storage (or upload a new one).

Similarly to client chats, you need to go to the student chat and attach the required file by selecting it from the storage.
Websites and lessons
For websites and online course lesson pages, there are various sections where you can embed media files: you can use files from the storage in media blocks and cover sections.

An image is uploaded from the storage into the block.

As well as video and its preview.
