# Students

For automated work with the flow of students, the platform provides a student work section where you can track the total number of students on the course, chat with students, answer questions, check homework, and track the amount of material completed.

Let's figure out how to navigate the section.

## List of students

When you click on the "Students" tab, the first thing you will see is the actual lists of students who have ever taken your courses, including those who are doing it right now.

<div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="/files/tEW4xxf6Dpxn4py1TjgY" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

Student lists can be filtered according to different criteria.

When you click the button, a menu appears with a selection of available filters.

<div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="/files/F1zpOzqV1KfHVLdSjEzm" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

You can also upload a list of students in .cvs format (with or without filters). Just click "Download".

<div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="/files/1FAAjI6eumqJxdT9z8cO" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

You can also see the "New homework" tab in the student lists.

<div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="/files/wj5VJXd4VCTyQCI7I6oO" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

Go to the tab to see the number of submitted assignments and whether each one is marked as "Resubmission" or "First submission".

## Dialog with student

When you click on any student in the list, a dialog window will open showing a menu with the student’s information. Let’s take a closer look at the dialog window.

<div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="/files/OEEyLP2m5kD49C1SFvMH" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

In the dialog window, course mentors can reply to student messages, attach files, send blocks from the builder, share various attachments, and also review homework assignments.

Please note that the online chat with students includes a chatbot configured in the builder. An AI assistant is also available if enabled in the relevant section.

{% hint style="info" %}
For more details on how to configure the online chat for your course, [see the article "Chat"](/chatbot/messengers/live-chat.md).

It could also be useful:

2. [How to create a chatbot.](/chatbot/builder.md)
   {% endhint %}

In the "Homework" tab, you can view all the course assignments submitted and checked by the curators.

After checking the task, you can leave a comment, as well as reject or accept it.

## Student information

When you click on a student in the general list, both a dialog window and the student’s profile card open.

<div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="/files/Y5BrYRksBn0DDjhx1NZD" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

* Contacts — the phone number is displayed if the student has entered one, along with the email address used for registration.
* The priority communication channel is a connected messenger or online chat on the course page.
* You can also assign lists and labels.
* You can also see the student's variables:

a) Creation date — the date and time when the student was added to your project (the date of his first course purchase at your school).

You can use this variable to filter students, for example, to offer promotions based on their registration date.

b) Last action — the date and time of the last action with the courses (delivery of the course, purchase of the course, completion of lessons);

c) Source — the communication channel is the student linked to;

d) Student ID — the unique student ID in MaviBot;

e) Linked to bot — displays the ID of the bot the student is linked to.
